Lisa Mahon P.H.D.

Lisa Mahon, Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA is a clinical psychologist who has worked extensively for over 25 years with individuals, couples and psychotherapy groups. Her areas of specialty are relationship issues, grief work, addiction and recovery issues, anxiety, depression and personality issues.

She is a licensed psychologist in the State of Georgia, a Certified Group Therapist (CGP) and a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (FAGPA).

Dr. Mahon and her husband, Philip Flores, Ph.D., have been leading psychotherapy groups together for over 25 years. They currently co-lead several outpatient psychotherapy groups a week in their private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Mahon is the past Chairperson of the Group Foundation for Advancing Mental Health (2008-2014). This Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports education and training, research, community outreach and information dissemination regarding group psychotherapy for the benefit of the public and professional communities. She has also served on the Board of Directors, as Secretary and on the Executive Committee of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. She has held the positions of President, Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Group Psychotherapy Society. Additionally, she is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association.
